Description

This Course covers the training recommended by IMO assembly adopted resolution A.924(22) on the review of measures and procedures to prevent acts of terrorism, which threaten the security of passenger and crews and the safety of ships.

In 1983, IMO adopted Assembly Resolution A.545(13)- Measures to prevent acts of Piracy and armed robbery against ships.
In 1986, IMO approved MSC/Cire.443- Measures to prevent unlawful acts against passengers and crew on passenger ships and port facilities who service them.
